MongoDB Query Language (MQL) Data Size Operators

Data size operators return information about the size and storage characteristics of documents and fields. These operators help you analyze document structure, calculate storage requirements, and query documents based on field size or data type characteristics.

$binarySize

The $binarySize operator is used to return the size of a binary data field.

$bsonSize

The $bsonSize operator returns the size of a document in bytes when encoded as BSON.
